Long-term rental — from 6 months

The long-term rental process, step by step

Once you get in touch, one of our team members will contact you, and from then on we take care of everything on a turnkey basis.

1

Choose your car

Browse our Cars available for rent, or if you have your heart set on a specific model we haven't imported yet, start the New car rental process.1, 2 Decide whether you would like to rent as a private individual or as a company.3

2

Get in touch with us

Choose the car that suits you, then send us an e-mail, give us a call or fill in the enquiry form. The minimum rental period is always 6 months.4

3

We send you our offer

We send you an offer for the specific car with all the details. Depending on availability, your requirements and whether the car is brand new or nearly new, we let you know the expected delivery time and the contract terms.

4

Accepting the offer and background check

If you accept the offer, we ask you for detailed information — as a private individual or as a company. We then carry out a quick preliminary check.5

5

Signing the pre-contract

Depending on your category, we send you a preliminary contract — for a private individual or for a company. You sign the preliminary contract online — electronically, without printing and without visiting an office.

6

Paying the deposit

You pay the deposit to Caradvance GmbH in Germany, in the amount that applies to the car.6 Depending on the model, the deposit is between 2 000 € and 10 000 € — what happens to it during and at the end of the rental is explained in detail on the Terms and deposit page:

2 000 – 10 000 €
Depending on the model. The exact amount is shown on every car card (“Deposit”), in the offer and in the contract.
7

Sourcing and delivery

We purchase the selected car in Germany and deliver it to your door.7

8

Handover inspection

When the car arrives, we inspect it thoroughly: we take photos of the exterior, the interior, and the odometer and fuel level. This is also when we fill in the handover report.8

9

Final contract

Both parties sign the final contract online, which also includes the handover report. You can read the terms of the contract clearly in advance here: Rental terms and deposit.

10

The car is yours

The car is yours for the next six months — all you have to do is drive.

min. 6 monthsrental period

Yours for the next 6 months

You rent the car for a minimum of 6 months, and during that time it's yours. The mileage allowance is 2 000–4 000 km per month, depending on the car. We send the invoice on the 1st of every month, and the monthly fee is payable in advance.

1 Our Cars available for rent are available immediately, so your rental can start quickly. If you choose a new car, however, it may take up to 4 months until you receive the vehicle — it may even be built specifically to your order.

2 We reserve the right to decline certain overly customised new car orders if the configuration in question would be difficult to sell after the rental.

3 We invoice VAT-registered companies without VAT (the VAT is accounted for by the customer). For private individuals we prepare an individual offer.

4 Depending on the car, the mileage allowance is 2 000–4 000 km per month; the exact allowance is set out in the offer and the contract. On request, a higher mileage can be arranged, which is reflected proportionally in the rental fee; if the allowance is exceeded, a per-kilometre charge applies.

5 We ask for personal or company details so that we can carry out a creditworthiness check (due diligence) on you as a private individual or as a company. We reserve the right to decline customers.

6 In most cases the deposit is fixed, but we reserve the right to adjust it if creditworthiness is too low or if other reasons justify it.

7 We keep you informed throughout sourcing and delivery. Please note that numerous external factors — production issues, administrative procedures, insurance, casco, transport difficulties, etc. — make exact timing difficult and may cause further delays. We do everything we can to get the car to you as soon as possible.

8 At handover, we go through the car's condition together point by point and create video and photo documentation for the protection of both parties. The same happens when the car is returned, when we compare whether any damage or other issues have arisen. This is also why the deposit exists — to cover minor, easily resolved cases.

Let's get started — choose your next car.
