2. Scope of the Terms

These GTC apply to the use of the website www.caradvance.cz (hereinafter the “Website”), to requests for an offer submitted via the Website, by phone, by e-mail or in person and — unless the individual contract provides otherwise — to contracts concluded with the Service Provider. The provisions of the individual contract take precedence over these GTC.

The website is not an online shop: no contract is concluded through it and no payment obligation arises. Contracts are concluded in writing, in a separate document. The language of the GTC is Czech.

3. Services and division of responsibilities

Caradvance GmbH — as Service Provider and contracting party — provides all vehicle-related services:

  • long-term rental of premium cars (for a minimum of 6 months);
  • sale of inspected premium used cars;
  • custom order of a new car (from the factory), or the search for and procurement of a used car from Germany.

Mr. Job SK s.r.o. (hereinafter the “Agent”), as the Service Provider's commercial agent for the Czech Republic, receives requests for offers, passes them on to the Service Provider and communicates with customers in Czech, Slovak, English or German. The Agent is not a party to purchase or rental contracts and is not authorised to conclude contracts or assume obligations on behalf of the Service Provider. Transport of the vehicle to the Czech Republic for sales with delivery is arranged by the Service Provider. The terms and price of the Agent's own services (e.g. help with vehicle registration) are set out in a separate order.

With financing (leasing, loan), the financing is always provided by a partner financial institution under its own terms and its own credit assessment; the Agent will inform you about this.

4. Offer requests and conclusion of contracts

  1. Submitting an offer request form, or an enquiry by phone or e-mail, constitutes an offer request, which is free of charge and does not oblige either you or the Service Provider to conclude a contract.
  2. The request for an offer is received by the Agent, who confirms submission of the form with an automatic e-mail. This confirmation is neither an offer nor a contract.
  3. During working hours the Agent will usually get back to you shortly, at the latest within 2 working days, with a tailor-made offer. The offer is provided by the Service Provider.
  4. The contract with the Service Provider is concluded upon acceptance of the offer, in writing (on paper or by electronic signature). The contract sets out the exact price and the payment, handover and delivery terms.
  5. The data required for offer requests is processed in accordance with the Privacy notice.

5. Prices, taxes, exchange rates

  • Prices shown on the Website are for information only and do not constitute an offer. The final price is set out in the written offer and the contract.
  • Some prices are given in euros. Amounts shown in the local currency are indicative conversions at the daily exchange rate; invoicing is in the currency specified in the contract.
  • The Service Provider is a German business. When selling to a private individual it applies Czech VAT of 21 % if the vehicle is delivered to the Czech Republic by the Service Provider or a person acting on its behalf. German VAT of 19 % is applied only to a used vehicle that the buyer collects personally in Germany and whose transport the buyer arranges themselves, without the involvement of the Service Provider and Mr. Job SK s.r.o. For vehicles sold under the margin scheme, VAT is not shown on the invoice. A business with a valid VAT ID in another member state is invoiced without VAT (exempt intra-EU supply). The applicable tax, the registration fee in the Czech Republic and the costs of transport, registration and putting into service are itemised in the offer.
  • The Service Provider is not bound by an obviously incorrect price (e.g. resulting from a typo or system error).

6. Vehicle data and images

We publish vehicle data, equipment and photos with the greatest possible care. For new cars, images are often manufacturer press photos, which may show different equipment or colours. The exact specification of the car is always set out in the offer and the contract. Availability may change until the contract is concluded.

7. Car rental

  • The lessor is Caradvance GmbH. The detailed rental terms — rental fee, term, monthly mileage allowance, deposit, insurance, place and method of handover and return, excess mileage charges, settlement of damage — are set out in the rental contract.
  • Rental requires a one-off, refundable deposit, the amount of which depends on the model and which is refunded in accordance with the rental contract.
  • Monthly fees shown on the Website are indicative prices for the stated term and mileage allowance.

8. Purchase, custom orders, import

  • The seller is Caradvance GmbH. For cars available for purchase, the car may be reserved or bought by another buyer until the sales contract is signed.
  • For custom (factory) orders, we order the car based on the configuration set out in the contract. The manufacturer’s delivery time is indicative; the contract may require a deposit or advance payment.
  • When purchasing a used car, the Provider vets the car and inspects it on site.

9. Transport, administration, putting on the road

For sales with delivery, transport of the vehicle from Germany to the Czech Republic is arranged by the Service Provider; the Agent can help you prepare the documents and register the vehicle on the basis of a power of attorney. The competent authorities are responsible for the time limits and outcome of official procedures (technical and emissions inspection, registration fee, putting into service); official fees are borne by the customer unless the offer provides otherwise.

10. Statutory warranty and guarantee

  • For used vehicles sold to consumers, the period for exercising rights arising from defects is shortened in the purchase contract to 1 year from handover (§ 2168 of the Czech Civil Code); for new vehicles it is 2 years from handover (§ 2165(1)). Under a claim for defects, you may request repair or replacement or, if this is not possible, a price reduction, or you may withdraw from the contract. Please notify us of the defect as soon as possible after discovering it. A defect that becomes apparent within one year of performance is presumed — until proven otherwise — to have already existed at the time of performance.
  • Wear and tear resulting from normal use and defects disclosed at the time of concluding the contract do not give rise to a warranty claim.
  • In addition to the statutory liability for defects, new vehicles are also covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • You can also assert a claim for liability for defects with the Agent; the Agent will pass it on to the Service Provider and help with its handling.
  • For non-consumer (business) buyers, the terms of the warranty and guarantee are set out in the individual contract.

11. Right of withdrawal

We usually conclude contracts online — they are signed electronically, no visit to the office is needed. A contract concluded in this way is a distance contract.

If a contract with a consumer is concluded exclusively by means of distance communication, the consumer has, under Directive 2011/83/EU (in the Czech Republic: § 1829 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code), the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons, with the exception in particular of:

  • for a vehicle individually configured and ordered according to the consumer’s instructions;
  • for vehicle rental for a specific date or period.

The withdrawal must be delivered to the Service Provider (info@caradvance.de) or to the Agent (info@caradvance.cz, Cesta na Senec 2/A, 821 04 Bratislava, Slovakia).

12. Liability

We strive to keep the Website continuously available, but we are not liable for unavailability resulting from maintenance, technical faults or the failure of third-party services. The results of the calculators on the Website (e.g. registration, transfer duty, leasing) are indicative estimates. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from the Website.

13. Complaints handling and legal remedies

You can submit a complaint orally or in writing to the Agent (info@caradvance.cz, +421 915 410 555, Cesta na Senec 2/A, 821 04 Bratislava, Slovakia) or directly to the Service Provider (info@caradvance.de). We will reply to a written complaint in writing and on the merits within 30 days. If the complaint cannot be resolved:

  • in the event of a cross-border consumer dispute (the Provider is a German company), you can ask the European Consumer Centre in the Czech Republic for assistance free of charge — evropskyspotrebitel.cz;
  • in a dispute concerning the Agent's own services (e.g. help with vehicle registration) you can turn to the out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body — the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ADR is free of charge); details and form: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr;
  • consumer protection authority: Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) — coi.cz;
  • you may also go to court; a consumer may also bring proceedings against the Service Provider before the court of their own place of residence (Article 18 of Regulation 1215/2012/EU).

14. Governing law and final provisions

Contracts concluded with Caradvance GmbH are governed by the law stated in the contract. For a consumer, this cannot deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence (“Rome I” Regulation 593/2008/EC, Art. 6). The services of Mr. Job SK s.r.o. and the use of the Website are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic; this does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence (“Rome I” Regulation, Art. 6).

We may amend these Terms unilaterally; amendments do not affect contracts already concluded. These Terms are effective from 1 October 2026.
