How big is the boot of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer?+
The boot holds 470 litres and, with the sliding rear seats and folding backrests, can be expanded to up to 1455 litres — making it truly family-friendly. In the plug-in hybrid version the base capacity is smaller because of the battery.
What is the fuel consumption of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer?+
According to WLTP, the 218i has an average consumption of approx. 5,9 l/100 km, the 223i approx. 6,3 l/100 km, and the diesel 220d approx. 4,8 l/100 km — with a charged battery, the plug-in hybrid can use considerably less.
What VAT do I pay on a new car?+
A new car (up to 6 months from first registration or with no more than 6 000 km) is always taxed within the EU in the buyer's country – in the Czech Republic at 21 % VAT. Caradvance GmbH issues you an invoice without German VAT, and you pay the Czech VAT in the Czech Republic: a private individual declares and pays it at their tax office within 10 days of acquiring the car, a company includes it in its tax return. We will explain the procedure when you order. The advantage is the German price and choice, not lower VAT.
