Which engines is the MINI Cooper available with?+
The MINI Cooper is available with a petrol engine, delivering 156–204 hp. Typical versions: Cooper C, Cooper S. We'll help you choose the right version for you.
What VAT do I pay on a new car?+
A new car (up to 6 months from first registration or with no more than 6 000 km) is always taxed within the EU in the buyer's country – in the Czech Republic at 21 % VAT. Caradvance GmbH issues you an invoice without German VAT, and you pay the Czech VAT in the Czech Republic: a private individual declares and pays it at their tax office within 10 days of acquiring the car, a company includes it in its tax return. We will explain the procedure when you order. The advantage is the German price and choice, not lower VAT.
Is the factory warranty valid for a MINI Cooper imported from Germany?+
Yes. A new car comes with the manufacturer's warranty throughout the European Union — including the Czech Republic — and servicing can be carried out at any authorised workshop of the brand in the Czech Republic.
How long does the import take?+
From stock, typically a few weeks; for a factory order, it depends on the configuration. We handle every step of sourcing, delivery, homologation and registration.
