Why the IONIQ 5?
Thanks to 800-volt technology it charges from 10 to 80% in about 18 minutes on a suitable DC charger (max. 260 kW), and the 84 kWh battery is enough for longer trips. With the V2L function the car can also be used as a power source: you can charge a laptop, an e-bike or camping equipment from it.
IONIQ 5 or IONIQ 6?
Technically they are related. The IONIQ 5 is taller, a crossover with a bigger boot; the IONIQ 6 is a lower, streamlined saloon.
